We have big plans for this blog and with big plans you need even bigger goals. Below are our goals for this first year that we believe will get us to the place we see ourselves. Some of these seem scary but that is the place you grow, in the scary.

This is about your faith being greater than your fear.-Jen Sincero

1. Post at least once a week.

Honestly I know this sounds so simple and like the “basic bitch” of blog goals. And before starting Gingers in The Wild I would say the same. But, honestly thinking about the planning, editing, writing, and creativity that goes into each post makes me want to hide under my covers. But, I also really look forward to stepping out of my warm and welcoming bed into the world. For the first time in a long time I feel like my creative brain is waking back up from a very long slumber. And I am truly excited to show people how to do things we love and discover new things about myself along the way.

2. Reach 1,000 followers on Instagram.

We love Instagram, like really love it! Like end the night scrolling through beautiful images and stories of peoples lives love it. The whole platform to us is this great space of energy, creativity, and constant inspiration. Some of the people we follow are so original and make us want to show our originality as well. So this goal seems insane but we honestly look forward to it the most. Because we feel like there is such a vast community of creatives that can be found on the platform and we look forward to what and where that can bring us.

3. Travel to a new place each quarter.

One of our first plans for this blog was to always showcase places that can be visited in a weekend, #ShortTripTravel. Or more realistically places that you can travel to and see a shit ton of in one weekend. Being in the Atlanta area we want to start with places around us that we have never been and work outward. Memphis, we are coming for ya!

4. Learn something new each month.

Because if you are not learning, than you are not growing. And who wants to stop growing in this world? PS. Yes, we are succulent hoarders and not ashamed. Each month we will try our hand at something we have never done before and see what happens. I love baking and crafting so mine will probably involve sugar, glitter, and lots of hot glue. Whereas Shelby loves gardening and organizing so hers will involve dirt, seeds, and Marie Kondo-#thankyounext.

We hope that these goals will be our road map on this blogging journey this year!
