The correct way...
How do you plant a lemon tree? This time last year I got real ambitious about my “green thumb” skills and bought a Meyer Lemon Tree. Maybe I had been listening to Beyoncé’s Lemonade too much. Or maybe I had been keeping a cactus alive for a month and this seemed like the logical next step. Whatever the influence (clearly Beyoncé) I went to my local plant shop and made the purchase. I proudly went home, potted that sucker and placed it on my front porch. Where all year it produced…ONE lemon!
That’s right folks all my dreams of sipping lemonade on my back porch while reading a book all summer died with that ONE lemon.
Well, not this year! I have spent a year researching, watching videos, and buying the things I need to make this tree love me. Love me enough to grow multiple lemons!
Watch as we show you the proper way to plant a lemon tree for either indoor or back-porch growing.
